Film Editing

This is my final project for the film editing unit. The goal of the project was to give a new student a tour of the school. The students were instructed to use the special effects in Adobe Premiere Pro to create a magical guide to give said tour.

For my tour guide, I took a picture of the bird roaming the campus and isolated it onto a transparent background with Photoshop. That way, I wouldn't have to "babysit" a greenscreen effect.

For the guide coming in and out of the scene, I used either lens flare or lightning effects. To make them "swell" over time I used the chroma key. They were accompanied by free sound effects I found on the internet.
